Hi, hello. I need to introduce you to the sweet, swirly lovechild of summer and comfort baking: Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls. If you’ve ever had the genius idea to combine soft, gooey, homemade cinnamon rolls with a warm, jammy, buttery peach cobbler… congratulations, we’re now best friends. This recipe was the star of my second-ever Mornings by Mallory—my monthly at-home café inspired by seasonal produce—and I can confirm: not a single crumb was left behind.
We’re talking soft, fluffy dough with a peach jam swirl, cinnamon sugar filling, buttery streusel crumble on top, and a peachy cream cheese frosting to pull it all together. And while this recipe looks like a showstopper (because it is), it’s honestly so approachable and flexible—thanks to a few smart shortcuts, like using peach jam instead of peeling peaches. Big fan of that. Let’s get into it.

Ingredients:
Milk: Warm milk helps activate the yeast and tenderizes the dough for a soft, pillowy texture.
Active Dry Yeast: The magic ingredient that makes the rolls rise and get fluffy.
Sugar: Feeds the yeast and adds sweetness to both the dough and the filling.
Vanilla Extract: Enhances all the flavors and gives a little warm hug to the overall taste.
Butter: Adds richness to both the dough and filling; creates that irresistible soft and buttery crumb.
Eggs: Provide structure and richness—essential for that classic cinnamon roll feel.
Bread Flour: Gives more chew and structure to the rolls. AP flour works too, but bread flour = better rise.
Salt: Balances out the sweetness and enhances the overall flavor profile.
Peach Jam: The star of the show! Adds real peach flavor without needing fresh peaches.
Brown Sugar: Adds molasses-y depth to the filling and crumble.
Cinnamon: That classic cinnamon roll warmth.
Cream Cheese: Makes the frosting tangy and rich.
Powdered Sugar: Sweetens the frosting and makes it creamy.
Heavy Cream (optional): Makes the rolls extra gooey and decadent when poured on top pre-bake.

What is Peach Cobbler?
Peach cobbler is a Southern classic made by baking juicy peaches with a buttery biscuit or cake-like topping. It’s warm, nostalgic, sweet, and perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. These rolls take that flavor and wrap it up in soft, gooey cinnamon roll form. Think jammy peaches + cinnamon sugar + soft dough + sweet cream cheese frosting.

Equipment You’ll Need
-
Large mixing bowl or stand mixer – to mix and knead the dough.
-
Measuring cups and spoons – accuracy is everything here.
-
Rolling pin – to roll out that dough into a perfect rectangle.
-
9×13 inch baking dish – for baking the rolls.
-
Spatula or butter knife – to spread filling and frosting.
-
Kitchen towel – for covering the dough as it rises.
Substitutions & Modifications
-
Peach jam → Apricot jam or raspberry jam for a fun twist.
-
Bread flour → All-purpose flour (texture will be slightly softer, still delicious).
-
Brown sugar → Coconut sugar for a refined-sugar-free option.
-
Cream cheese → Mascarpone or a thick Greek yogurt for the frosting.
-
Vegan → Use plant-based butter, milk, and a dairy-free cream cheese.
