  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 24 pepperoni slices 2 per roll
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons pizza seasoning
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prep the Rolls: Take the pack of King’s Hawaiian roll sliders and, keeping them attached, cut a slit into each slider, cutting two-thirds of the way through.
  • Layer the Ingredients: Marinara Sauce: In each slit, spoon in a little marinara sauce. Mozzarella Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese into each slit. Pepperoni: Insert two pepperoni slices into each slit on top of the cheese.
  • Marinara Sauce: In each slit, spoon in a little marinara sauce.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese into each slit.
  • Pepperoni: Insert two pepperoni slices into each slit on top of the cheese.
  • Butter and Seasoning: Melt the butter and mix it with the pizza seasoning. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls, making sure to get some in the slits as well.
  • Bake: Place the rolls in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the tops are golden brown.
  • Finish with Butter and Cheese: Remove from the oven and brush with more of the melted butter and pizza seasoning mixture. Top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  • Serve Hot: These are best enjoyed while hot. If you’re heading to a gathering, bake them right before you leave. If you’re hosting, throw them in the oven just before your guests arrive. They can also be easily reheated and still taste amazing!
