Ingredients

Sugar Cookie Syrup

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

Iced Latte

  • 2 shots espresso about 2 ounces
  • ¾ cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar cookie syrup adjust to taste
  • Ice
  • Festive sprinkles

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Sugar Cookie Syrup

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup granulated sugar, 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon almond extract.
  • Stir gently until the sugars dissolve and the mixture reaches a syrupy consistency, about 5–8 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the syrup coats the back of a spoon.
  • Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool completely. Once cooled, transfer to a syrup dispenser or any container you like. Store in the fridge (see storage instructions below).

Step 2: Prepare the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte

  • Brew two shots of espresso (or about 2 ounces). If you don’t have an espresso machine, see below for alternative methods.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in the espresso.
  • Add ¾ cup almond milk and one tablespoon of your homemade sugar cookie syrup. Adjust the syrup to taste if you’d like it sweeter.
  • Stir everything to combine, top with festive sprinkles, and enjoy!

Step 2: Prepare the Hot Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte

  • Brew two shots of espresso (or about 2 ounces).
  • Heat ¾ cup almond milk until hot (but not boiling) by microwaving or warming it on the stove. For a frothy texture, use a milk frother or whisk to create foam.
  • Pour the hot espresso into your mug, then add one tablespoon of the sugar cookie syrup (or more if you prefer a sweeter drink).
  • Add the steamed almond milk to the mug, spooning any foam on top for a creamy finish.
  • Sprinkle with festive sprinkles or a dash of cinnamon, and enjoy your cozy hot latte!
