Ingredients:
Unsalted Butter (melted):
Butter gives the bars their rich, soft texture and acts as the base for both the crust and crumble topping.Light Brown Sugar:
Adds sweetness and depth—brown sugar makes the crumble extra soft and slightly chewy.All-Purpose Flour:
Your structure! It holds everything together and provides that soft, cookie bar texture.Baking Powder:
Just enough lift to make the base soft and tender, not dense.Salt:
Balances the sweetness and brings out the buttery flavor.Blueberry Pie Filling:
Tart, juicy, and already thickened, this makes the bars incredibly easy while still tasting homemade.Vanilla Extract:
Vanilla adds warmth, depth, and a cozy sweetness that ties everything together. Even though it’s a small amount, it enhances the flavor of both the crust and crumble, making the bars taste more “from scratch.” It brings out the brown sugar and buttery notes and complements the blueberries beautifully—don’t skip it!
