Brew Your Espresso: If you’re using an espresso machine, pull two shots of espresso. If you don’t have one, brew 1/2 cup of strong coffee.
Heat the Milk: In a small saucepan, gently heat your milk on medium-low heat until it’s warm but not boiling. (If you’re making this in the microwave, heat it for about 1 to 2 minutes).
Mix the Pumpkin Mixture: While the milk heats, whisk together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl. You can adjust the maple syrup depending on how sweet you like your latte.
Combine: Once your milk is warmed, pour in the pumpkin mixture and use a hand frother or whisk to mix everything together until it’s smooth and slightly frothy. If you don’t have a frother, you can blend it for about 30 seconds in a blender to get that nice foam.
Assemble: Pour the hot espresso (or coffee) into your favorite mug and then pour the pumpkin-spiced milk mixture over it.
Optional Toppings: Top with whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice for that perfect finishing touch!
