Homemade Honey Vanilla Latte

A simple honey vanilla latte made with homemade honey vanilla syrup. Perfect hot or iced and better than the coffee shop version.

Ingredients

Honey Vanilla Syrup

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste

Latte (1 serving)

  • 1 ounce honey vanilla syrup
  • 6 ounces milk
  • 2 shots espresso
  • Optional cold foam

Instructions

Make the Syrup

  • Add honey and water to saucepan.
  • Stir and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Turn off heat.
  • Stir in vanilla bean paste.
  • Cool completely and store in refrigerator.

Hot Latte

  • Brew espresso.
  • Stir in syrup.
  • Steam milk and pour over.
  • Top as desired.

Iced Latte

  • Fill glass with ice.
  • Add syrup.
  • Pour milk over.
  • Add espresso.
  • Stir and serve.

Store syrup in refrigerator up to 3 weeks. Shake before using.
