Instructions
- In a saucepan, brown the butter on low-medium for 5- 10 minutes. Continually stir to avoid burning. Once brown, immediately transfer to a separate bowl and allow the butter to cool for 10 minutes.
- Beat the brown butter with brown sugar & granulated sugar. Allow it to fully mix. This will be around 2 minutes.
- Then add egg, & maple praline extract. Beat again.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, baking soda, & salt. Then mix into the wet mixture.
- Coarsely chop the Lindt Salted Dark Chocolate Bar and fold it into the batter along with the chopped pecans. For a richer flavor, consider using chocolate pecan cookies with cocoa powder in your recipe.
- Allow the batter to refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
